Mario E. Maldonado, P.E.
Owner
Mario is an expert in Petroleum Reservoir Engineering, Acquisitions and Training. He also has extensive experience in Production Engineering, Drilling Engineering and Recruiting.
He has evaluated assets totaling several billion US dollars using oil and gas wells employing every drilling, production and reservoir management method.
He began his career with nine years at Chevron Corporation followed by another decade at smaller companies. He created Oculus Energy Company in 1997 to focus on consulting services and Non-Operated investments.
Mario holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas in Austin and has served as a Member of its External Advisory Committee.
Charles K. "Chuck" Maretzky III
VP Business Development
Chuck is an expert in Asset Acquisitions, Asset Divestitures, and Business Development. He also has extensive experience in operations oversight, transaction evaluation, and industry networking.
He has evaluated and sourced oil and gas opportunities totaling $1 billion across 36 states. He has also participated in over 1,000 drilled wells and 100,000 Non-Operated wells.
Chuck has over 20 years of industry experience and has served on multiple oil and gas association boards. He has also organized and executed more than 50 industry networking events and annually evaluates hundreds of millions of dollars in off-market opportunities..
