About Oculus – 2,400 Producers
Founded in 1997 by licensed petroleum engineer Mario E. Maldonado, Oculus Energy Company is an independent energy firm focused on consulting services and Non-Operated investments. Our consulting service draws on decades of experience performing highly technical reservoir engineering duties for Chevron Corporation and dozens of smaller companies.
Our investing activities rely on having evaluated every major USA producing basin and purchasing Non-Operating interests in over 2,400 producers as shown on the map below. Our direct ownership approach allows us to bridge the gap between technical reservoir complexity and financial liquidity by keeping us abreast of all the current asset producing, evaluating and financing methods.
